Festival Frenzy: A Step Towards More Fun and Inclusive Events in Call of Duty

I wanted to take a moment to dive a little deeper into how the Archie's Festival Frenzy event is changing the Call of Duty experience for the better. In the past, we’ve seen seasonal events that bring a bit of flavor to the game, but this one feels different—it’s not just about adding new skins or giving us limited-time modes. It feels like Call of Duty is trying to broaden its appeal and give players of all types something to enjoy.

For example, the Festival Frenzy mode brings in a mix of traditional COD gameplay with new, experimental mechanics like carnival-themed obstacles and mini-games. These little twists have made the event much more inclusive for players who might not typically enjoy the hardcore shootouts we’re used to. It’s a great way to break up the usual grind, and I think it shows that COD is trying to appeal to a wider audience, including those who like more lighthearted gameplay.

And let’s not forget the inclusion of festival-themed cosmetics. We’ve seen some really cool skins, including bright neon outfits and ridiculous accessories like inflatable unicorns. It’s definitely a departure from the usual tactical gear, but it's fun! I actually love the fact that COD isn’t afraid to take risks and introduce this kind of whimsy into the franchise.

I’m hoping they keep experimenting with these types of events in the future. It’s refreshing to see Call of Duty embrace a more fun side alongside its usual intense combat. What are your thoughts on Festival Frenzy? Are these types of events something you’d like to see more of?
